Carol M. Clark

Carol M. Clark

Investment Principal

A contradiction, it appears. Carol Clark at the office: dressed like the investment professional she is, poring over trends for the economy and markets. Spied in the off-hours: wearing jeans and an "Irish" sweatshirt, cheering on one of her three children from the bleachers at one of dozens of volleyball, football, basketball, softball, baseball, cross country, and cheerleading events that she attends throughout the year. Carol also frequents another bench – a piano bench – playing for a weekly family church service and singing group for elementary-aged children. Her professional and personal life keep her busy – a juggling act she truly enjoys.

Previous experience: vice president and director of research, John G. Kinnard & Company; investment officer, First Trust, N.A.; market strategist, Piper Jaffray, Inc. Education: CFA Institute (CFA), William Woods College (B.A., summa cum laude). Editorial and speaking contributions: Worth, Area Developer, Estate Planning, Physician's Money Digest, Pioneer Press, Twin Cities Business, Wall Street Journal Radio, Bankrate.com. Community organizations: board member, chair of the investment committee, member of the fundraising committee, Gillette Children's Hospital; vice chair, College of St. Benedict's investment committee; undergraduate mentor, University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Business; member, United Way's Planned Giving and Task Force.
