While some might think that a Minnesota firm would not be complete without a hockey player, Jim Steiner is no ordinary hockey player. After graduating from Yale with four years as a varsity forward, Jim flew to Eastern Europe where he spent weeks sleeping on a beach outside Leningrad, and then played professional hockey for Vissers Nijmegen in the Netherlands. "Learn all you can, and experience all that you can before you reach age thirty," his father had advised. Jim did. Today, Jim is experiencing a very full life – he spends his time away from Lowry Hill raising four children and playing just enough golf to maintain his handicap of six. "I'd like to maintain both of those numbers right where they are," he adds.
