Stephanie J. Prem

Stephanie J. Prem

Financial Principal

In school, most students saved money for concert tickets, nice dinners, or something "typically collegiate." Meet the very untypical Stephanie Prem. In college and later in law school, she scrimped on albums and take-out to buy art and antiques. Her passion for collecting was so great, she says, "I invested funds earmarked for law school in art, and then worked three jobs during graduate school to pay my tuition." Not surprisingly, Stephanie and her husband, Tom Owens, continue to collect art and have passed on their appreciation to their children (son, Charley, has started his own collection and daughter, Caroline, is a photographer). Stephanie also applies her aesthetic to her work at the firm. "There is a real art to estate and financial planning," she says. "I love nothing more than to help our clients achieve a beautifully executed estate plan."
