He's a true junkie – of movies, that is. And of almost every genre. His favorite? Giant, the 1956 Texas epic about wealth and its effects. "The movie is artistically made and so well told." (His mother taught high school English and directed the school's theatrical productions, which might help explain Tim's appreciation.) "The messages come across strong and clear – just like great marketing." Having grown up in North Dakota, this former farm boy also relates to the beautiful, vast land expanses featured throughout the film. While fondly recalling a childhood spent hiking and exploring the outdoors, going to the movies was not a frequent big-family option. (He's the sixth of 13 children, and the theatre was almost 20 miles away.) "By now," he jokes, "I'm pretty sure I've more than made up for lost time."

Education: Minnesota State University, Moorhead (B.A., magna cum laude); Minnesota State University, Mankato (M.B.A. program). Professional and community organizations: board member and public relations committee member, Cornerstone, a nonprofit organization working to prevent domestic abuse as well as provide victim advocacy; member, Minnesota chapter of the American Marketing association; member, Minnesota chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators.
